HCMC First Locality to Integrate Bus, Metro on VNeID: What's New?

Ho Chi Minh City has become the first locality in Vietnam to fully integrate public transportation services, specifically buses and the metro system, into the national digital identification application, VNeID. This integration aims to enhance convenience and accessibility for residents utilizing public transport within the city.

In addition to the transportation integration, the VNeID application has also been updated with a range of other new utilities. These supplementary features include functions related to vehicle registration inspections, management of land use rights certificates (sổ đỏ), social welfare services, and personal healthcare information. These improvements reflect HCMC's efforts to digitize public services, providing a more streamlined and efficient experience for VNeID users.
